The Zeltbahn set is cleanly digitally-printed onto thin paper. The definition of the camo scheme is excellent & the range includes different patterns – just like the real thing. As you can see, there’s colour variation within each individual pattern as well. Due to the reversible nature of the Zeltbahn, you can choose from the Medico’s catalogue which side or “version” best suits your own needs.
We quickly assembled the 16-man “summer side” tent (Ref: 016). It’s simple enough to do using basic tools like a sharp scalpel, a ruler & white glue.
For more detail, watch the video in our “How To” section to witness the 4-man tent being built or look at our step by step photo gallery here of the 16-man tent going together.
A fun project, that is pretty realistic, especially once weathered. The instructions recommend wetting the paper & using a jig to help keep the shape. In this case, we assembled it all dry so you can see the fit & finish when no water/PVA mix or used is used.
Enjoy!
