Located about 45 to 60 minutes drive outside the city, this private collection is a real treasure trove of tanks & military vehicles.
It has hundreds of items in its inventory amassed over years by the late collector, Jacques Littlefield.
There's too many stunning pieces to mention, so why not watch our video & go on a tour with volunteer Chris "Toadman" Hughes - well known to modellers as the man behind Toadman's Tank Pictures.
The collection is now run as a charitable foundation & isn't open to the public but you can book an appointment & take a look around easily enough.
We can't recommend this place highly enough - there's a vast cross-section of all sorts of interesting vehicles, the staff are welcoming & friendly & it couldn’t be in a nicer part of the world, being just a few miles from America's beautiful California coast.
So all in all, the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation is well worth a visit.
